🤝 Cat Trading

Trading is a core mechanic allowing you to exchange cats, packs, prisms, and more with another player using the /trade command.

Trade Risk Alert: Trading can be a risk! Always be careful who you are trading with, as trades are **not reversible** once submitted. Cattito takes no responsibility for bad trades!

How Trading Works

Start the Trade: Initiate a trade with a player using the /trade command.
The Embed: A detailed embed appears, showing two fields—one for each user—including their username, current offer, total **Value**, and number of items offered.
Making an Offer: Press the Offer... button. A dialog will prompt you for the items you wish to offer:

Cat, Pack Type, Prism Name, Or "Rain": Specify the item to offer (case-insensitive). You can only offer **one thing** per popup. Repeat the process to offer multiple items.
Amount to offer: Defaults to **1**. Must be a whole number (≤ your inventory). **Negative numbers** will reduce the amount offered and reset any user Accept states.

Offer Confirmation: If valid, your offer will instantly appear in the trade embed.
Accept or Deny: Use the Accept and Deny buttons. Pressing Deny cancels the trade (the embed updates to show you cancelled).
Finalizing the Trade: **Both users** must press Accept (a checkmark appears by your name). When both parties accept, the items are instantly swapped!

Item Values (Valuations)

Every tradeable item has a value based on its **spawn chance** or a set fixed price. These values are used to show the total worth of each side's offer during a trade, helping ensure fair exchanges.

ℹ️ Value Notes: Cat values are rounded to the nearest whole number. Pack values are rounded to the nearest fifth.

💡 Trading Trivia & Tips

**Cattito's Offer:** Trading with Cattito offers 9,999,999 eGirl cats (Value: 20,539,997,946). Accepting triggers the **"Desperate"** achievement, but Cattito **never accepts**.
**Item Safety:** If items disappear from an inventory during a trade, Cattito says "Uh oh - some of the cats/prisms/packs/rains disappeared while trade was happening," which prevents the transaction from completing and stops debt.
**"Blackhole":** Both users accepting the trade simultaneously can trigger the secret **"Blackhole"** achievement.
**Removing Items:** To remove a cat or pack (but not rain or prisms) from your offer, enter a **negative number** in the amount field during the Offer... process.
**Rain Value:** The minute value of Cat Rain was changed from 1100 → 900 on March 31, 2025.
