The Dark Market is a hidden, unlockable area found in the /achievements command. Along with /slots, it has canon Cat Bot lore.
After collecting at least 20 Fine cats, there is a 1/11 chance that a button saying "You see a shadow..." will appear on any cat you catch. Clicking it triggers dialogue with instructions on accessing the Dark Market. If you miss it, it will appear again later.
Click the "Hidden" category in the /achievements tab 3 times to enter. You must have triggered the "You see a shadow..." button first.
Cataine lasts 12 hours and doubles the amount of cats you catch. It stacks with prisms and blessings. While active, catching a cat will display:
🧂 cataine worked! your catch got doubled!
When expired, it will say:
your cataine buff has expired. you know where to get a new one 😏
There is a limit of 10 Cataine in the Dark Market. Trying to buy the 11th triggers a minigame for access to harsher prices.

After buying all 10 Cataine and completing the story (~defeating the Dog Mafia), The Mafia Hideout replaces the Dark Market. It offers 3–5 Cataine per week with prices from the special Mafia Hideout Cataine Price Table.

/achievements 3 times to access services.Spam the "RUN!" button as fast as possible. There is no failure condition for speed, but clicking too fast can freeze the button. Restart by re-entering the Dark Market if needed.
